After I graduated, I had all this free time on my hands. I was highly influenced by a lot of great work being produced around me in Melbourne, and wanted to emulate the same productivity I saw happening. I figured one way of getting this going was to make sets of drawings. There were no real guidelines. Just said to myself, ‘I want a series of 4,’ and worked on achieving the number. It was good, I ended up with fairly finished things at the end.
