Or rather, a felt one. Thank you, Kami! I’m going to be taking this adorable little guy to Newcastle for This Is Not Art.

Nuwan and I wrote a song today, and it feel so good to create something together. Both of us get dissatisfied if we are not creating, individually or together. I’ve never done this before, although I’m always singing and playing covers on my guitar. Every creative endeavor has something to teach me, and I love it.

I found a half moon in my coffee, and Mojave the sloth wanted to take a look. No, sloth! You’re too slow!

My lovely boyfriend cooked the house a lasagna, and it was delicious. I typed that as ‘delivious’ at first… We both have a little insider joke about that.

I bought some strawberry cake mix, but haven’t baked it yet. Seb arrived home with some berry and yogurt cake from his mum, so we’re stocked for cake. Mmm… Cake.

I figured out today that it only takes 15 minutes to mop the kitchen. I like it when things get done in under that time frame, especially boring things. It’s very motivating.

Today was a cloudless blue. Winter, you’re being a real sport.

1. Blazing sunset at 8 pm
2. Panda family! How cute are they?
3. Weekend at the Green Refectory
4. Light in the cupboard of cups

I want this blog to document happiness, in the hopes that it will inspire others to document their own joy. Also, to remind myself that happiness is always there, it never leaves for too long. I will also update my skills as a photographer.

Taking a Glee break. I feel weird. I don’t know, maybe I haven’t had enough time to reflect yet.

I have been thinking a little bit about power in numbers. How so much more can be accomplished when you are not one, but a team of many. I’m really grateful for all the wonderful people I know, and how life is not short of people to be with. I think for a while back there, it felt like that was the case.

I don’t really know what I’m rambling about. Feeling emotional, and this episode isn’t doing wonders. But guitar is! Yay!

Yes, hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. The house will be filled with lovely people as usual, and snippets of joy will reign.
